Live Event Illustration: Global Ethical Stocktake for COP30, London

Taking visual notes for the COP30 Process

For Project Dandelion’s Global Ethical Stocktake, held at the close of London Climate Action Week 2025, I was invited to provide live graphic recording for a major international climate dialogue.

Inspired by the Paris Agreement’s Global Stocktake, Project Dandelion held a dialogue on the climate crisis, bringing together social, cultural, spiritual, business, scientific, and political leaders to deliver a set of civil society contributions to COP30.

As the event’s graphic recorder, I captured discussions across workshops and final presentations to the official COP30 delegation. Throughout, I illustrated a visual of the key themes, ideas and how they built on one another, as well as quotes that resonated most within their groups.

The live visual notes map how key ideas developed throughout the day, illustrating connections between policy goals, ethical frameworks, and community action.

The finished visual summary was fed directly into the COP30 civil society reporting process, making complex policy discussions accessible and memorable.

High-resolution visual assets were shared in post-event newsletters, social media coverage, and ongoing campaign materials.
